Post Natal Academy coming to New Zealand

With Mothers Day in May, we are focussing on our special mums – past, present and future.

Developed in partnership with leading Post Natal fitness expert Jenny
Burrell, this course is for certified Power Plate® instructors who are
already, or who wish to work with Post Natal clients. It will teach you
the skills to assess and safely prescribe exercises for this group of

The morning theory session will cover the special needs of this
group, and look at current medical guidelines for exercise, as well as
showing you how to assess if your client is ready to begin an exercise

In the afternoon, the practical session will give you hands-on
experience in the type of exercises that can be prescribed on the Power
Plate machine. You will work from and take home a fully referenced and
illustrated manual, including a questionaire for your Post Natal
clients, exercise image library and modern guidance on teaching Pelvic
Floor strengthening exercises, both on and off the Power Plate machine.

Presenting the Power Plate Post Natal Academy and workshop for us here in New Zealand is Amanda Boyle, from Power Plate Australia.
The course is suitable for anyone who has attended the Power Plate Level 1 Academy previously.
