[CHICAGO, IL, September 10, 2026] Performance Health Systems, manufacturer of Power Plate® and bioDensity™, today announced a strategic investment in and partnership with Screen My Bones™, the Leeds, U.K.-founded bone health screening platform. The partnership is Performance Health Systems' first move into bone health assessment, pairing Screen My Bones' platform with Performance Health Systems' established base of consumers, clinicians and commercial partners across the U.K., U.S. and international markets. Both Power Plate and bioDensity are essential to the partnership, giving Screen My Bones' members a direct path from assessment to two clinically backed ways to improve their results.
Bone health remains one of the most under-diagnosed drivers of physical decline. An estimated 44 million people in the U.S. and 3.5 million in the UK live with osteoporosis or osteopenia and falls among adults 65 and older cause over 14 million injuries a year — yet traditional bone density scans remain slow to access, often requiring a physician referral and a six-to-eight-week wait for results. Screen My Bones' screening platform delivers results in about 20 minutes, with no referral and no wait, making repeatable, proactive screening realistic for far more people.

Founded in the UK by Gary Andrew Rhodes, Screen My Bones has supported the screening of more than 5,000 people and is building a growing network of healthcare professionals, clinics, gyms, corporate partners and community screening providers. The company aims to screen more than 50,000 people across the UK over the next 18 months, helping to put proactive bone health screening at the forefront of people's health and wellbeing. Screen My Bones combines fast, accessible and radiation-free bone health assessments — using screening technology that is FDA cleared, MHRA approved and TGA registered — with education, digital support and clear pathways towards appropriate, evidence-informed action. Its “screening to solution” model is designed to help people understand their baseline bone-health markers, make informed decisions and take meaningful action to improve their long-term bone strength, mobility and resilience.

The partnership will roll out initially across Performance Health Systems' U.K. commercial channels — including gyms, physical therapy practices, longevity clinics and corporate wellness programs — before expanding to the USA and across the broader international distributor networks of both Power Plate and bioDensity. Currently, the partnership has a facility in Leeds, UK, where clients can experience the full screening-to-solution model in person. Terms of the investment were not disclosed.
